Ethan Andrews grew up in a regional New South Wales mining town with the highest ratio of men to women in Australia. After a childhood spent following his hometown’s well-trodden path, he is set off course by a break up and a self-help book.
Featuring interwoven stories about a preteen massage, a semester abroad and an almost kiss, this autobiographical comedy show explores youth, love and choosing between change and stability. Cram into a bedroom and hear how he wound up here.
This event is held as part of House-Bound
Ethan Andrews is a stand up comedian from Singleton, New South Wales. Inspired by storytellers and one man shows, Ethan has been honing his confessional brand of performance with gigs that challenge perceptions of what stand up comedy is supposed to be. Following appearances at Noted Writers Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and This is Not Art, Ethan is proud to present his debut hour in Canberra for the very first time. The Youngest I Am Ever Going To Be is the culmination of a 2016 residency with Tantrum Youth Arts and years of thinking about his ex.
